About the Position

As a VP of Sales, you will own the commercial vision, strategy and revenue performance of Azion’s entire sales organization in a dynamic and highly technology-driven environment. You will lead through a layer of senior sales leaders, setting the multi-year direction, revenue ambition and operating model for the company’s go-to-market, while staying close enough to the market to shape the most strategic relationships and deals.

We seek a proven executive leader with an entrepreneurial mindset and a strong builder’s instinct, capable of scaling a global, high-performing commercial function across diverse markets and budget scenarios. As a member of the leadership team, you will translate the company’s ambitions into an executable revenue engine, represent the voice of the market in company-level decisions, and build the leadership bench that carries Azion’s next phase of growth, supported by highly skilled internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the company-wide sales strategy and revenue engine, translating Azion’s multi-year ambitions into clear targets, coverage models and priorities across regions and markets;
• Lead, develop and scale a team of senior sales leaders (Directors/Heads) and their organizations, building a durable leadership bench and a culture of high performance and accountability;
• Consistently exceed company-level revenue and growth targets, balancing short-term delivery with sustainable, long-term business growth;
• Define and evolve the end-to-end go-to-market strategy, aligning segmentation, pricing posture, channels, partnerships and sales motion with market opportunity;
• Partner as a peer with executive leadership and cross-functional teams such as Product Management, Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing and Finance to align on company strategy, forecasting and an integrated customer experience;
• Own forecasting, pipeline health and commercial performance at the company level, leveraging a data-driven approach to inform executive decisions and course-correct quickly;
• Design and govern the sales operating model, including organizational structure, quotas, incentive philosophy, tooling and process, and lead continuous improvement across all of them;
• Serve as a senior representative of Azion in the market, engaging directly with strategic customers, partners and industry stakeholders at the executive level;
• Contribute to company-level strategy and leadership discussions, including planning, investment and talent decisions for the commercial organization.

Required Qualifications

• Extensive executive experience leading sales organizations in the information technology segment, including leading through other sales leaders and owning revenue at a regional, global or company level;
• Proven track record of defining and executing commercial strategy in complex, high-growth environments, with sustained delivery against ambitious targets over multiple cycles;
• Strong background in SaaS and B2B sales, with deep understanding of complex, high-value and multi-stakeholder deal cycles;
• Demonstrated ability to build, scale and lead high-performing organizations, develop senior sales leaders, and attract, motivate and retain top commercial talent;
• Advanced data-driven mindset for forecasting, pipeline management and performance analysis at the organizational level;
• Fluency in designing and governing sales operating models, including structure, coverage, quotas, incentives, tooling and process;
• Knowledge of information security, web applications and how the internet works;
• Mastery of sales methodologies such as Solution Selling, Predictable Revenue, or other results-driven approaches in SaaS;
• Experience operating as part of an executive team and influencing company-level strategy;
• Advanced English and Spanish.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical experience prior to transitioning into sales, enabling a deep understanding of the product and its applications;
• Proven experience building and leading commercial organizations across international markets;
• Experience developing Directors and Heads into senior executive leaders;
• Ability to ramp fast and pivot quickly as the business evolves;
• Knowledge in Edge Computing or CDN;
• MBA or Master’s degree in relevant fields such as Business, Technology, or Management;
• Fluent English and Spanish.

FlexWork Model
