The Senior AI Software Engineer serves as a technical benchmark within the team, responsible for leading the development of high-complexity digital products. You possess a systemic view of both product and platform, capable of making architectural decisions that bridge traditional software development with the strategic integration of Artificial Intelligence. You will act as the primary interface between Product, Data, and AI Engineering teams, ensuring that all solutions are scalable, secure, and driven by clear business outcomes.
Lead the design and development of high-complexity full-stack solutions, from concept to production.
Define, disseminate, and maintain high standards for code quality and maintainability, raising the team’s overall technical bar.
Spearhead AI integration strategy, determining when and how to implement LLMs, RAG, or agentic workflows, working alongside AI Engineers or independently.
Ensure the scalability, performance, security, and reliability of applications, including complex AI components.
Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies, frameworks, and development/AI tools.
Conduct strategic code reviews to foster technical excellence and quality.
Mentor and develop junior and mid-level engineers.
Collaborate with Product, Data, AI Engineering, and Business leadership to anticipate technical needs and propose innovative solutions.
Contribute to the definition of robust development, quality assurance, and deployment processes.
Document and communicate complex technical decisions to diverse stakeholders.
Define and promote a comprehensive testing and automation strategy (unit, integration, E2E) to ensure quality at scale, including testing AI-driven features.
Solid experience in full-stack development for production-grade projects.
Proven track record of establishing quality and design standards in production codebases, with the ability to evaluate architectural trade-offs at scale.
Proficiency in back-end programming languages (Python, Node.js, Java, Go, etc.) and modern front-end frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular) using TypeScript.
Advanced experience integrating LLMs into real-world products (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, etc.).
Deep expertise in prompt engineering, RAG, and implementing AI features within a product context.
Advanced knowledge in modeling and optimizing both relational and NoSQL databases.
Advanced experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
Advanced experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Advanced experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and deployment automation.
Demonstrated history of technical leadership and mentoring teams.
Strong analytical skills, clear communication, and business acumen.
Advanced/Fluent English.
Anthropic Claude Certified Architect — Foundations (CCA-F) or equivalent.
Public cloud certification (AWS, Azure, GCP) at the Professional/Specialty level.
Experience with multi-agent architectures in a product context.
Experience with advanced security for AI applications (prompt injection mitigation, guardrails, data privacy).
Experience with SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) applied to systems with AI components.
Contributions to open-source projects in software engineering or AI.
Graduate degree (Master’s or equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or related fields.
